This intricately designed glass ornament is created by skilled artisans in a famous glass-blowing region in the Basti district of Uttar Pradesh, India. The uniquely modern and artistic glass ornament is designed using centuries old glass-blowing techniques dating back to the Mughal period. These artists are making a living making handcrafted items of high quality with incredible design attributes, and provide local community development by training others to carry on the tradition.

Thank you for visiting Sitara Collections®.  We are delighted to offer you a wide range of fair trade products handmade by artisans.  Traditional handcrafted arts and techniques are kept alive, and, as the artisans' talents are in demand, they receive better wages than the average worker. The best part is that your purchase makes a real difference, as we donate a portion of net proceeds to the Helping Children Succeed Foundation, a 501 c(3) organization that currently provides funding for a children's school in our ancestral village in rural India.  It’s our way of adding a little love to every purchase.

The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected.
